I just listened to this podcast and had to share my favorite 'Padme moments': The entire theme song for Star Trek: Enterprise has to go down as one of the most cringe-worthy moments in the entire cannon and was just so tonally off the whole series that I think it has to count as a 'Padme moment'. Another is Kim Basinger in the Tim Burton 'Batman' movie with the whole 'Why won't you let me love you' scene. My biggest of all time is actually not in a SciFi movie so maybe it will be disqualified, but Andie McDowell at the end of 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' with the line 'Is it still raining, I hadn't noticed.' always makes me cringe. I know there are others but I can't think of them right now...
I also can't believe no one picked the Firefly theme song as one of the best Sci-Fi themes ever, although it is seriously tough to whittle it down to just 5 out of all the great ones over the years. I totally agreed with Raoul on Doctor Who as number 1.
I just discovered your podcast and am really enjoying it, so thanks for the great discussions!
