Scifi Diner Conversations 14 – What Is Your Current Favorite Genre Character? We Talk About Being Human, V, The Final Five Caprica Episodes, The Cape, and Whether iTunes Just Might Be Ripping Us Off.
Carl wrote in and asked “Who are your favorite current genre characters? Your favorite all-time favorite genre characters? What makes a great genre character? Are you more likely to stick with a show because of character or story?” We answer all his questions but are looking for you to throw in your own opinion.
We also talk about the Sanctuary renewal, a bit more about Tron: Legacy, your opinions about the American Being Human premiere, what it means for a show to be an original show, more on the Caprica Final Five Episodes, The Cape, V, Prometheus (what used to be the Alien Prequels), and whether iTunes just might be charging too much for their TV show seasons. We wrap up with Kevin Bachelder convincing us to take a second look at Sucker Punch.

Tonight we discuss Tron Legacy. After giving our initial impressions, we discuss the original, whether it was important to have seen the original, and Easter eggs in Legacy for those who have. We move into discussing favorite actors, the plot, the music, the CGI, and basically derez the sucker. Our discuss wraps up by talking about seeing it in 3D versus 2D and whether we think there will be a sequel. We chat about the up and coming Tron animated mini-series (see story below). Some of our listeners had this to say about Tron: Legacy.
