Hey guys I enjoyed Conversations 81 and wanted to chime in on a couple things.

Oblivion; I saw this in IMAX which is the way everyone should be seeing SciFi movies now days. That statement goes double for Oblivion. I found myself in awe at the vistas they shot. You really got the feeling of being alone. The story line was a bit weak but that didn’t seem to affect my enjoyment of the movie. I absolutely loved the drones. They were scary as hell, which sounds ridiculous until you see the movie. I couldn’t stop talking about them the next day at work.

Defiance; It surprises me that people are so divided over this show/game. I like the show and love the game. In my old age I am just enjoying movies and games rather than picking them apart or holding them to some “academic elitist” standard. So I get in game and blow stuff up, fun. Then I go watch a show about the same people I was just doing a quest with. I like that they are trying a crossover between a game and a TV show. We see today how so many people are turning off TV for other forms of entertainment so why can’t this be the future? Someday maybe we will be discussing how “Defiance started it all”.

Didn’t want to take a lot of your time si i will end here.

    Keep up the good work.

    Rhen
