IPod Ready Download

In this week’s science fiction episode we bring you the latest SciFi News. We are going to Shore Leave 31, which is no surprise if you regularly listen to the show, and we were given the opportunity to interview some of our favorite SciFi actors.  And that is where you come in.  We have our own questions we want to ask them, but we want to know what questions you would like us to ask them as well.  After all we do this show not only because of our love for all things SciFi, but because of you as well.  Please let us know what questions  you would like us to ask Vanessa Angel (from Weird Science and Stargate…she played the role of Anise and Freya), Miracle Laurie (Melli from Dollhouse), Robert Picardo (Richard Woolsey from Stargate: SG1 & Stargate Atlantis as well as from Star Trek: Voyager where he played the Doctor), and  Ethan Phillps (also from Star Trek: Voyager where he played Neelix).

Transformers 2 kills in its opening five days with $200M – https://www.syfy.com/2009/06/transformers-2-kills-in-i.php#more

There’s apparently no stopping those giant freaking robots: Michael Bay’s much-hyped sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen raked in an estimated $200 million in ticket sales domestically in just five days, the Associated Press reported.

That includes $112 million domestically in the sequel’s first weekend and $201.2 million since opening Wednesday. For its first five days, that puts the Transformers sequel second only to last summer’s The Dark Knight, with $203.8 million.

This was the biggest opening weekend of the year, surpassing the $85.1 million debut of X-Men Origins: Wolverine in early May.

The sequel began with $60.6 million in its opening day Wednesday.
