Great podcast. I just finished watching 'Star Trek: Into Darkness'. Loved it. I tried my best to remain spoiler free and it paid off. Lots of surprises.
Anyway I have a question for you guys, who did the music at the end of this podcast? It's pretty damn good. I'd like to listen to more. Thanks in advance.
The song is This by Tryad. You can find it here. https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/listen/id203998119
Hey guys,
You pronounced my name correctly.
You are fast becoming my favorite podcast, mainly due to your casual conversation style. It is very relaxing. Keep it up.
There is an Atlas Shrugged 2, I have not seen it but it got very bad reviews. I think it was released mid 2012. I do remember liking the first one. It's a poster child for why the government needs to stay out of big business.
I was able to see Star Trek: Into Darkness this past Wednesday, in IMAX 3D of course. I don't care for the 3D but I didn't have a "standard" IMAX choice. I had a good time watching the movie and loved the little throw back references that only Trek fans would get. The think what surprised me the most is how much I thought Chris Pine's performance was like a young William Shatner. All his exaggerated facial expressions included. Karl Urban as Bones always turns in a completely enjoyable performance. Don't tell my Trek friends but I may enjoy him more than DeForest. I am sure some will whine and cry about the story but I had a blast watching it and you should too.
Here is a book suggestion for you, Earth Unaware by Orson Scott Card. I picked this up in an airport on a business trip. Having read all the Ender series, I was surprised I had not heard about this book. In a nut shell, if you liked the Ender books you will like this one too. I blew through the 450 pages in about eight hours, which is fast for me. It was an easy read and as it is a prequel it was new and interesting.
Thanks again and keep up the good work.
I have read the first three books in the Ender's Game series. Is the book you suggested an Ender's Game prequel?
Yes it (Earth Unaware) is a prequel to the Ender series. Its about the first time we meet the Formic.
